How to Enable Your Strategy With the Right Technologies – Webinar 3 Thursday 12 February (12:00–12:50)

The final webinar in this series was held in partnership with the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI). Host Pranash Ramanundh (RIAI) introduced the theme of the webinar How to Enable Your Strategy With the Right Technologies. This webinar focused on the need for appropriate technology when implementing information management strategies within organisations that suit the specific needs of those organisations.

The webinar featured demonstrations of the Build Digital supports IM / BIM Technology Evaluation Methodology (including worked examples for an authoring tool and a Common Data Environment), IM / BIM Technology Deployment Strategy (including a worked example for a CDE), and the IM / BIM Technology Deployment Plan (including a worked example for a CDE) available on the Build Digital Exchange.

The panel discussion consisted of Robert Moore, Alen O'Farrell (Department of Education and Youth), and Michael Earley (daa), while Host Pranash Ramanundh facilitated the audience Q&A. Panellists highlighted the need to make requirement-led decisions on information management technology, and not to be swayed by trending technology that may not suit your organisational needs.
